Doron Schneidman
Chief Executive Officer
Since 2001, Doron is the CEO of Direct Insurance Financial Investments [DIFI]. Prior to that Doron was the CEO of Adgar Investment & Development, the Real-Estate arm of the group for 7 years. Doron held various positions up to Deputy Managing Director in Zur Shamir Insurance Company.
Doron has a B.A. in Economics from the Tel-Aviv University.
Igal Mor
VP Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the institute
of certified public accountants in Israel. Mr. Mor has been
with the Direct Insurance Group since 1998, serving as Vice
President and Chief Financial
Officer of Direct-IDI Insurance Company Limited until 2003. Previously,
he worked for 6 years as a senior manager in PriceWaterhouseCoopers
in Israel.
Sharon Haran
VP Business Development
Sharon Joined DIFI on March 2006 as Vice President for Markets
Development. Before joining DIFI, Sharon worked for 8 years
in orange Israel. During this period he held various management positions
in the marketing,
business development and regulations divisions. His last
position was Head of 3G project where he was in charge of the company
organization and preparation
work toward launch and the coordination with the Hutchison
group. Sharon holds a BA degree in economics and MBA both are from Tel
Aviv University.
Zipi Karpel
VP Corporate IT
Zipi joined Direct Insurance when it was incorporated, in
1993, serving as Vice President, responsible for IT. Since 1999 Zipi
supported
the establishment of DIFI's international initiative, until
she fully joined DIFI as Vice President, responsible for International
Business Development.
Zipi was in charge of the establishment of Link4 until going
life. Before joining the Group Zipi was a partner in a software house.
Zipi has a BSC
degree (Com Laude) in Computer Science, the Technion in Haifa
and an MBA (Com Laude) from Bar-Ilan University.
Steven Kostyn
VP- Actuarial, Reinsurance
Steven has been with the Direct Insurance Group since 1998, serving
as Vice President and Chief Actuary of Direct-IDI Insurance Company
until 2003. Previously, he was the Chief Actuary for Property/Casualty
business at the Migdal Group, Generali's insurance arm in Israel.
A fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries and the Israel Association
of Actuaries, Steven has more than 20 years of experience in the field
of Insurance. Steven is a member of the Property / Casualty Professional
Advisory Board of the Israel Association of Actuaries, and has served
as the Director of Actuarial Education (P&C) and as a member of
the Governing Council.
Leora Propper
Head of Corporate Staff
Leora Joined DIFI in May 2007 as Head of Corporate Staff, responsible for Business Assistance to the CEO , Legal Management and Special Projects Management. Leora has extensive experience in Marketing and Commercial areas . Before joining DIFI, Leora was Vice President Trade in New-Pharm the second largest drugstore retailer in Israel. Prior to that Leora worked for Reckitt Benckiser Israel ,as Category Manager . Leora has a LL.B Law and a B.A in Business Administration [Com Laude] from the Inter Disciplinary Center in Herzelia. Leora is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.
